CAMP MENDOCINO REVISITED
In our last newsletter, we wrote about the Mendocino
camp... "After lunch on Tuesday the campers put on a
surprise 'roast' and told outrageous stories about
Peter and his ministry visits to the USA." Part of that
"roast" was this song by our good friend Craig Holding:
He came from far across the sea,
Risking limb and life, with his good friend Roslyn,
Along with his first wife.
He came to Mendocino, To preach to a chosen few,
I guess he tired of preaching to a group of kangaroos!
Chorus:
Peter, Peter, we hope that you can see
That you mean so more to us than any wallaby!
Peter, Peter, we hope you know we care,
And you mean so much more to us than a koala bear!
Now he's in California,
He speaks God's Word with thunder,
We're so glad he's over here, instead of back down under.
And now upon his birthday, we will make quite a fuss,
'Cause he means so much to us than any platypus!
THE FIRST TEACHING to be released from the camp in now
online at < http://www.peterwade.com/modules.php?name=zina >
"Count Your Days" was delivered on Peter's birthday in
the morning session. The interaction with the campers
has been edited out but 27 powerful minutes of teaching
remain that will bless and encourage you. All the camp
teachings will be made available on cassette by The Word
Teaching Ministry, and on audio CDs and on one CD-ROM in
MP3 format (including two teachings from our Colorado
seminar "A New You". Watch this space!
A LETTER
"Reading the Positive Principles Book 1 again after
nearly 20 years was as exciting and fresh as the very
first time I read it. On reflection of how the applica-
tion of God's principles that I learnt from Peter Wade's
teaching, I realise now how they have so enriched my
life to know that I know that the Word of God truly
works. Thank you, Peter. It's so good to be back. Keep
the "good" Word coming. I need it. -- Ros Singleton.

IN CHRIST by A. J. Gordon
Chapters 2 and 3, "Crucifixion in Christ" and
"Resurrection in Christ", by Dr. A. J. Gordon have been
added to the site. He writes...
One with Christ in His dying, we must be one with Him
also in His resurrection, for the bands of this mystic
union are not dissolved or weakened while the Saviour
lies in the tomb. Joined to His people, that He might
carry them with Him through the pains and penalties of
death, He now in the same gracious partnership of being
brings them up again from the dead. And so "He spreads
the mighty miracles of His own regeneration from the
dead, along the whole line of history. He repeats it in
every true believer. The Church's is an everlasting
Easter" (Archer Butler).
We are to remember that the resurrection is not
merely a historical fact, the transcendent miracle and
mystery of the apostolic age. Certainly it is all that.
But it is more. It is a moral event, a principle of
spiritual energy, as well as a fact of human history.
While to those, therefore, who see Christ only from the
outer court of knowledge, and whose faith ends in the
bare belief that "he died and rose again according to
the scriptures," the mystery may remain: to those who
press into the inner sanctuary of fellowship, praying
that they may "know him and the power of his
resurrection," it will be more and more laid open to
them as they advance.

3. SONGS I REMEMBER
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
This month's hymn comes from one of the most important
names in gospel music in the 19th century, Philip P.
Bliss. He died at age 38 in 1876, having written many
favorite songs still enjoyed by evangelical churches.
This song was written in 1874 to be included in the
first issue of a Sunday School paper titled "The Words
of Life". It is obviously based on John 6:63, "The
words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life".
Sing them over again to me,
Wonderful words of life.
Let me more of their beauty see,
Wonderful words of life.
Words of life and beauty,
Teach me faith and duty.
Chorus: Beautiful words, wonderful words,
Wonderful words of life.
Beautiful words, wonderful words,
Wonderful words of life.
Christ, the blessed One, give to all
Wonderful words of life.
Sinner, list to the loving call,
Wonderful words of life.
All so freely given,
Wooing us to heaven.
Sweetly echo the gospel call,
Wonderful words of life.
Offer pardon and peace to all,
Wonderful words of life.
Jesus, only Saviour,
Sanctify forever.

4. A POSITIVE WORD FOR TODAY (Peter Wade)
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
A CHANGE IN VIEWPOINT
"I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never
go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be
thirsty" (John 6:35)
A change in viewpoint will set the stage for a greater
number of miracles in my life every day. As long as I
look for God's blessings to come from out there
somewhere, I have a low estimation of God's work in
Christ for me. Since the New Creation is complete, then
it becomes a question not of begging God to bless me, but
of enjoying the benefits of being already blessed.
The word "endogenous" means "growing or originating
within." All God's righteousness, spiritual blessing,
fullness, power, all things, are part of the New Creation
placed within me by God and therefore from my viewpoint
are endogenous. These blessings develop from within into
an outworking or manifestation in my life.
I need only to come to Him and believe on Him, and I
"will never be hungry and will never thirst any more -- at
any time" (John 6:35 Amplified Bible). Once I become a
believer I cannot experience spiritual hunger, as it is a
contradiction in terms.
God placed His spirit within me "that we may
understand what God has freely given us" (I Corinthians
2:12). The gift of spirit within, the New Creation, is
thus His communication system. God does not plan to
catch my attention every time with the sound of a trumpet
from the sky; He wants me to "Be still, and know that I
am God" (Psalm 46:10). All the guidance I need is
within. (From "You Are A New Creation", Chapter 1,
adapted by Hildy Matthews.)
AFFIRMATION: The New Creation within me is a reservoir
of divine ideas and inspiration. I have an endogenous
guidance system.

5. SEARCHLIGHTS FROM THE WORD
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
G. Campbell Morgan was a well-known preacher and writer
from the early years of the 20th century. In this spot
each issue we reproduce a comment from one verse in
every chapter of the Bible. We continue with Galatians.
"To reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him"
(Galatians 1:16).
The experience which the Apostle thus described was at
once the inspiration of his preaching, and the secret of
that conviction as to the authority of his Gospel which
called forth this letter. To him the Gospel was
infinitely more than a doctrine, a truth heard from
others, and intellectually accepted. It was his very
life, and the deepest thing therein.
In this first chapter he made three references to his
experience which are revealing. First he wrote of a
"revelation of Jesus Christ". Then, in our verse, of a
revelation of "His Son in me". And finally, he declared
that the churches of Judaea glorified God in him.
The first of these references was undoubtedly to that
wondrous hour in which Jesus of Nazareth was unveiled
before his astonished soul, as risen, and active in the
affairs of His people. The experience on the road to
Damascus, that which had been an arresting and blinding
revelation from without, became a convincing and
quickening revelation with his own soul. Christ was
unveiled with him. That is the secret of preaching.
A consciousness of Christ which is purely objective
is fundamental, but it is not enough to equip any man for
preaching. There must be this deeper knowledge of Christ,
the subjective unveiling of Him with the life. A man who
knows much about Christ, may talk about Him. A man who
knows Him, can preach Him.

6. BIBLE STUDY OUTLINE
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
We're giving our humor section a rest! So much humor
is now on the web and repeated endlessly, that we feel
this space could be better used, hence our new section.
These Bible Study outlines come from the excellent book
by F.E. Marsh, "1,000 Bible Study Outlines".
ABUNDANT SUPPLY
"Able to do exceeding abundantly above all we ask or
think" (Ephesians 3:20).
"The principal and most valuable characteristic of
the cod is its amazing fecundity. It has been calculated
that a single fish will deposit nine million eggs, a
number which in its vastness simple bewilders us, for we
cannot at all realise what such a mighty host means."
What is true in this realm of Nature is true in every
other, and especially in the realm of grace, for the Lord
provides...
1. Abundant Grace to save us -- Romans 5:20
2. Abundant Pardon to forgive us -- Isaiah 40:7
3. Abundant Satisfaction to fill us -- Psalm 36:8
4. Abundant Peace to quieten us -- Philippians 4:7
5. Abundant Life to equip us -- John 10:10
6. Abundant Joy to gladden us -- Philippians 1:26
7. Abundant Power to energise us -- Colossians 1:11
A GROUP OF GLAD ONES
The word "Glad," "Rejoice," etc., are on and the same
in the Greek.
1. A Glad Saviour -- Luke 15:5
2. A Glad Sinner -- Luke 19:6; Acts 8:39
3. A Glad Servant -- Acts 11:23
4. A Glad Sufferer -- Colossians 1:24
5. A Glad Saint -- II John 4
6. A Glad Surveyor -- Colossians 2:5
7. A Glad Scoffer -- Luke 23:8
